Well, I hate to beat a dead horse, but today's tirade is about love. Love is supposed to be pure, blind, stupid, and uncaring. Some of these descriptors seem a little odd for love, as most have a "perfect" definition of love. But here is how it is supposed to work: Love is supposed to be untainted, love can't see race, age, or status, love doesn't know any better than to give the heart what it wants, and love doesn't care who it has fallen in with if it is what the heart wants. Love doesn't have conditions, or grudes, love is supposed to be the most beautiful, perfect thing that exists in this messed up world of ours.

But that's not how it works. Every girl I have had run-ins with has disproven this ideology to me and even relations with my family. I have but one concluusion: that love has been completely tainted in these modern times. Love is not supposed to be hurtful, yet it is the worst pain a man can feel. The best way to defeat even the mightiest of foes is to break their hearts. So tell me, in this world, is it still possible to find a "perfect" love? I keep up a slowly wavering faith that it exists and I'll keep searching for it, disheartened though I may be. Wish me luck my friends, for this lonely man goes where many before him have gone and failed, hoping to succeed and end the curse that haunts him.
